Eduard Galić is one of the most prolific Croatian film and television directors. Active since the 1960s, he has directed over 100 documentaries, dozens of TV dramas, and several landmark series including Putovanje u Vučjak, Sam čovjek, and Heroji Vukovara. Known for his focus on historical and literary themes, his work bridges art and national memory. He is a recipient of the Vladimir Nazor Lifetime Achievement Award and continues to influence the regional media landscape through mentorship and creative leadership.

Dominik Galić

Dominik Galić (born 29 May 1975, Zagreb) is an accomplished Croatian film producer and screenwriter, with a remarkable background as an Olympic swimmer and national record-holder in butterfly events.

After graduating from UC Berkeley in business administration in 1999, where he also competed in collegiate swimming, Dominik transitioned into film in the early 2000s. Since then, he has co-produced with his father Eduard Galić critically acclaimed documentaries and features, notably the Vukovarska pasija i Križni put (2005) and the landmark series Heroes of Vukovar (2008).

In 2018 he wrote the screenplay for and produced the feature film For Good Old Times, followed by the 2022 production Sixth Bus, which premiered internationally and engaged Croatian communities abroad through its portrayal of Vukovar’s legacy.
