Heroes of Vukovar is a Croatian documentary series (2005–2008) directed by Eduard Galić and produced by Dominik Galić and Colonel Marko Babić. Created to highlight the courage of Vukovar's defenders and shift the focus from victimhood to heroism, it features interviews with over 500 veterans. Premiering in 2007, the series aired on HRT to wide acclaim and large viewership. Although a second season was made, HRT declined to broadcast it, causing public and veteran outrage.
