This documentary film about the Croatian national football team was produced by Dominik Galić and directed by renowned Croatian filmmaker Eduard Galić. The script, based on the book Vatreni lakat, was written by journalist Andrija Kačić-Karlin using the testimonies of legendary Croatian player Aljoša Asanović. The film covers the first ten years of the Croatian national team and was distributed with Večernji list. With 40,000 copies sold, it became the best-selling Croatian film at the time, making Naše vatrene godine a record-breaking success in Croatian cinema.
